The Hoyt Sentinel Jackson County Friday March 4, 1904 Wilcox--Maris. On Tuesday, March 1, 1904, at Belleville, Kansas, a marriage was solemnized which united two highly respected young people. The bride was Miss Lulu M. WILCOX, of Belleville; the groom, Mr. William MARIS, of Hoyt. After the ceremony the bridal couple took first train over the Rock Island System for their future home in Hoyt. She will be welcomed by many friends here who unite in wishing all happiness to be her lot through life. No better known, or more highly esteemed young man, lives in this vicinity than Mr. Maris. And we are glad he has broken up "Bachelor Hall" and changed his home to a happier and more congenial one. They start in married life with naught to mar a happy future. The Sentinel adds its congratulations to those of a host of other friends.
