    3. The Hoyt Sentinel Friday April 29, 1904 George ALLEN, Jr., for the past four years Principal of the Netawaka Public School, visited Hoyt on Wednesday afternon, in his canvas for the Republican nomination for County Superintendent of Schools of Jackson County. He is not a stranger t the people of the county, having made a similar canvas four years ago, being defeated for the nomination. Mr. Allen's experience as teacher antedates his present position, which he spent as Principal of the Circleville Public School. In his school work he has endeavored to keep abreast of advanced and up-to-date methods, and, if fortunate enough to secure the nomination and election, will carry into the Superintendent's office a high degree of talents and experience that will enable him to discharge its duties in an efficient manner.
