The Hoyt Sentinel Jackson County Friday April 1, 1904 Martin--Barker. The announcement was received in Hoyt on Wednesday of the marriage of Miss Abbie MARTIN and Mr. Silas M. BARKER, and which took place at the home of the former's mother, Mrs. Frances Martin, near Adrain, at noon on that day. Both bride and groom are well known to many of our people. The bride is an earnest and devout christian and a woman of winsome manner and personality that has won her a wide circle of true and admiring friends. The groom is an engergetic and industrious farmer, who has by frugality acquired a furnished home, two miles north of town, where they will reside. Mr. and Mrs. Barker enter upon their life voyage under most auspicious circumstances, with naught to preclude unlimited happiness. That such may be their portion is the sincere wish of the Sentinel and their numerous friends.
