    3. The Hoyt Sentinel Jackson County Friday November 6, 1903 Married in Holton. Miss Lola L. ELLIOTT and Mr. Arva CARREL were quietly married in Holton on Wednesday morning, at nine o'clock. Besides Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Elliott, father and mother of the bride, R.L. Elliott, brother of the bride, was also present and witnessed the ceremony, which took place at the Court House. Mr. and Mrs. Elliott returned to Hoyt on the noon train, while Mr. and Mrs. Carrel departed for St. Joseph, where they will make their home. Both parties are will known in Hoyt, and where the bride has resided all her life. The groom is an industrious young man of good habits. That they may enjoy the full measure of life's happiness their friends truly wish.
