The Hoyt Sentinel Jackson County Friday December 25, 1903 John Stach, Sr., died at home on Monday, December 14, aged 79 years, six months. The deceased had been an invalid for thirty years, but bore his affliction with christian fortitude and resignation. He espoused the cause of christianity in early childhood, and was true to its principles, precepts and mandates throughout life. The funeral was held Wednesday morning. Interment in the Rossville cemetery. A wife, two daughters and four sons survive and mourn his loss. The family have the sincere and heartfelt sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
