The Hoyt Sentinel Jackson County Saturday May 10, 1902 Accident. Last Friday afternoon while engaged in laying brick in the walls of the new building used by the Hoyt State Bank, Charles COPELAND fell to the ground. The scaffold, which was a temporary structure, about fourteen feet above the ground suddenly gave away. Mr. Copeland's hands caught on the green wall which enabled him to fall more easily than if he had gone down with the scaffold. With the exception of a few bruises he was unhurt.
