The Mayetta Herald Jackson County Thurday February 24, 1916 Married: At the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Wah-was-suck, one mile south of the Mission church, Rev. A. L. Plowman, Missionary, officiating at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 19th. Mr. Tribly Wah-was-suck and Miss Emma YOUNG, Pottawatomi young people who have the best wishes of their many friends about the Reservation. They will begin housekeeping on a lease near by, and no doubt will rival most of the Indians in the farm products produced. The Missionary says he has married a great many couples, but this is the first couple of originial Americans united by him. He was proud of the opportunity.
