Hi all - - We know that my wife's family was in Jackson area in 1867 because she was buried in the Union Town Cemetery, Willard, Kansas. When we were there a few years ago we were not able to find her head stone. Someone a few years before that had stated that it was propped up along the edge of the cemetery. Does anyone know anything about this woman or her family? Eliza Jane Muller, wife of Alex Muller, died Dec.13, 1867, age 38 years. He was part Potawatomi Indian. Don't know of her pedigree. Alex Muller and Eliza and all the children were listed on the 1867 addition to the 1863 Tribal Roll of the Potawatomi Indians [Kansas Kin; Vol. xvii, August 1979 reprint of the "1863 Tribal Roll for Potawatomie Indians" ] They must have been living near by. We have no idea where Alex is buried. Any help with looking at Union Cemetery will be gladly accepted. We will be in Willard August 1, or 2. Help, help any one. [email protected] Fresno, CA
