The Anthony Weekly Bulletin Harper County Friday June 25, 1897 Halstead-Milam. Married, at the residence of the bride's parents, two and one half miles south of Corwin, Sunday June 20, at 8 o'clock p.m., Mr. D. O. HALSTEAD and Miss Lela B. MILAM, Rev. H.K. MONROE officiating. After the ceremony a bountiful supper was served to about 50 friends and relatives of the bride and groom. The bride is a beautiful and accomplished daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.B. Milam. The groom who is the son of Jas. K.P. Halstead, is a worthy young man and is esteemed by all who know him and is to be congratulated for winning so amiable a lady for his wife. They were the recipients of a number of valuable presents.
