The Anthony Weekly Bulletin Harper County Friday November 26, 1897 Bertha, thirteen-year-old daughter of Henry SESSLER, formerly of Garfield twp., this county, now of near Anthony, Kans., died suddenly Sunday October 31, 1897. She had apparently recovered from a spell of measles, but had a matterating on one thumb. Nothing serious was thought of it until she fell from her chair dead, on the above date. It is now believed that she died from blood poisoning, caused from the sore thumb. Their many friends in this county sympathize with the relatives in their sad bereavement. Pratt Union.
