The Anthony Weekly Bulletin Harper County Friday November 5, 1897 Mrs. Stedman Dead. Mrs. B.H. STEDMAN died at her home, one mile north of this city, Saturday, October 30, 1897. Funeral services wer held Sunday at the congregational church conducted by Rev. J.R. EDWARDS and the remains shipped to Wichita for burial beside her father and sister. Mrs. STEDMAN has been a resident of Anthony for nearly twenty years, coming here with her husband and other earliest settlers in 1878, and has always been identified with the Congregational church. She was born in East Hampton, Massachusetts, in 1835, and was 62 years of age at the time of her death. Mr. H.W. LEWIS, wife and daughter of Wichita, relatives of Mrs. STEDMAN were here to attend the funeral.
