You might order through your library on interlibrary loan from the Kansas State Historical Society (at no charge) the 1885 and 1895 Greenwood County census to search for your people. It will be a number of reels of film, but may be your best bet. Another suggestion, you might contact the Registrar of Deeds at the Courthouse in Eureka and inquire if they can find them in their Grantee index to land records giving you a better idea if they came in and purchased land.
