LARSON Madison - Mrs. Ernest Larson died Sunday morning at her home in Madison. She had lived here since 1973, when she and her husband moved from California. Mr. Larson died April 23, 1981. A service in the Wilson Funeral Home will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Number Eight Cemetery east of Madison. The daughter of Bernard and Minnie Coltz DeWerdt, Jennie M. DeWerdt was born in Woodstock, Illinois, December 14, 1920. She married Ernest Larson in Zeeland, Michigan, on October 7, 1938. She is survived by six sons, Edward Larson of Syracuse, Missouri, Theodore Larson of Livermore, California, Robert Larson of Madison, Donald Larson of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, Raymond Larson of Oroville, California and Richard Larson of Genoa City, Wisconsin; two daughters, Patricia Shifflett of Madison and Janet Ziegler of Fort Riley; 19 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. Her parents died earlier, as well as a brother, John DeWerdt.
