Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Lena Valley Methodist church. The Rev. E. F. Buck, pastor of the Grace Methodist church will conduct the services. Burial will be in Lena Valley cemetery. Mrs. Beach was born June 16, 1883, at Lewiston, Ill., the daughter of the late Mr. And Mrs. James A. Clemmer. She married Howard L. Beach, December 24, 1903, in Lena Valley. He died February 26, 1937. Mrs. Beach had lived in Emporia five years, moving here from the Lena Valley community. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Olive French, of Madison; one son, Andrew Lee Beach, of LaPorte, Ind., and one granddaughter, Mrs. Howard Goodwin, also of LaPorte, Ind. She was a member of the Lena Valley Methodist Church.
