Beach, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. L. D. Beach, aged 11 years, 4 months and 4 days. His entire life was spent in Lena Valley and he was a general favorite with schoolmates and friends because of his cheery disposition. His last illness, though short, was very severe, being a complication of dropsy and lung fever. He leaves to mourn his early death, a father and mother, five brothers and two sisters, besides a host of friends and schoolmates who feel the loss of their little playmate keenly. His remains were laid to rest in the Valley Cemetery, on Monday January 20. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Flickenger. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of the entire Valley, at this their hour of sadness.
