Mrs. Evilsizer aged about 80 years. Perlina Walters was born in Clay County, Kentucky, November 27, 1821. At four years of age she removed with her parents to Morgan County, Indiana and resided there until her marriage with Sinclair Evilsizer March 22, 1836. After her marriage she lived in Indiana three years, then moved to Missouri where she resided until March 1884, then came to Severy Kansas, where she made her home until her death August 28, 1901. She was the mother of twelve children, five of whom survive her; Joshua Evilsizer, Butler,MO; Marie J Turner, Severy, KS; Anna M Amery, Bramer, MO; J H Evilsizer, Kansas City, MO and Ora D Gibson, Kingfisher, OK. She survived her husband ten years and fifteen days. When fifteen years of age, she experienced religion and united with the Missionary Baptist Church, of which she remained a member until her death.
