    3. I think the Greenwood Historical Society is one of the best places to research. The volunteers are absolutely marvelous and they have lots of data and good suggestions Out of all the Historical societies I have ever written to or joined across the United States they truly rank at the top for friendliness, information, knowledge, and going the extra mile. If you have not written to them yet, try that before your trip. They have an online Website. http://skyways.lib.ks.us/kansas/genweb/greenwoo/gchs.htm Carina Gilson Slack ----- Original Message ----- From: oregon1853@netscape.net Sent: Monday, September 16, 2002 12:25 AM To: KSGREENW-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [KSGreenwood] Best Place for Research? Hello List, I will be visiting Kansas next month. Could someone please advise where the best place to do research is? I am trying to find information on 2 families from about 1855-1865 that lived in Greenwood Co. I would like to find out when 2 children were born and died, and where my gggrandmother died and was buried. Also anything about their life there.
