I think the Greenwood Historical Society is one of the best places to research. The volunteers are absolutely marvelous and they have lots of data and good suggestions Out of all the Historical societies I have ever written to or joined across the United States they truly rank at the top for friendliness, information, knowledge, and going the extra mile. If you have not written to them yet, try that before your trip.
