    1. Hales Family
    2. David Statler
    3. Hello Everyone. I'm new to the list and here's my first post. I'm looking for any information about the following family: George and Jennie HALES lived in Severy, KS (Greenwood Co). They moved to KS from Missouri after their children were born. They had four daughters (May, Georgia, Floy, Jennie Marie) and two sons (James and Terrill). Not exactly sure of the year they moved, but probably around late 1800's or early 1900's. The sons later moved to Topeka, KS. James married Marie Martin and had two sons, Donald and Eugene. Terrill married Gladys and had several children two of which were named George and Jane. May married Merritt Hughes and belived to stay around Severy on a farm. They adopted a daughter named Audrey. Floy moved to live near Manhattan, KS Jennie Marie moved to California. That's about all I know about them and if you happen to know about this family, I'd appreciate any info you might be able to share. Thank you very much! -David Statler

    1. Samuel I. GHRAMM Obit Lookup?
    2. Steve Cole
    3. Hello, I'm trying to find out some information on my mother's surname GHRAMM. I've traced back to my great great grandfather Samuel Isaac Ghramm who passed away in Fall River KS on March 04, 1936. I was hoping that someone out there might be able to find an obit. for me, oh please oh please... According to his death certificate he was a carpenter and had lived in Fall River for the last 45 years, so his dates in Fall River are 1891-1936. He was also listed as widowed but the name doesn't quite jive with what I have from the Ancestoral File. I have Suzie Ann Rodin and the death certificate which is difficult to read looks like Susan Rodin Krauss or something. Any help with the Ghramm surname would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Steven Cole Portland Oregon ____________________________________________________________________ Get your own FREE, personal Netscape WebMail account today at http://webmail.netscape.com.

    1. HEUSTON & BARBER Families
    2. Hello ~ I am new to the list and would like to put my names here, hoping for a connection. William HEUSTON/HOUSTON, wife Almira (Hatch) Barber and their sons, Ebenezer, Theodore J.P. and Jerome DeWitt were living in Pleasant Grove on the 1870 census. After that date, I find William receiving payment as a "road viewer", some homestead claims for Ebenezer and Eb's marriage (in Wilson County) to Lavica Caroline CRAIG, but not much else for the entire family. Oh, in 1878, William's property was sold at Sheriff's sale, so we're assuming he may have died about that time. Almira also had a son, named ? Hartselle BARBER, who was apparently b. OH who was in the general area til 1877 when he died while in TX. His wife, Susanna/Anna ? returned from TX to KS "to her family" with their children, Elton Alfred and Hattie May BARBER. Thanks for your time. Sherre
