I am new to the list and I am seeking information about my grandfather, Henry Hugh Wheeler b. December 24, 1892 in Hill City, Kansas. I am trying to find documentation for his birth - ie. birth certificate or newspaper item. His parents were John Arthur Wheeler (1864-1944) and Florence Adelia Cassel (1874-1901). I don't know John's occupation. They were married November 16, 1891 in Hays (Ellis County), Kansas where they gave Hill City as their residence. I don't know the total length of time they lived in Hill City, but I do know that Florence Cassel Wheeler was brought back to Hill City following her death in Denver, for burial.
