Hunsicker, 78, died Monday, April 2, 2001, at his home. He was born Oct. 23, 1922, near Morland to Robert Loren and Bonnie Bernice (Blankenbaker) Hunsicker. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the American Legion, Redondo Beach, Calif., and was block captain for the neighborhood watch in Manhattan Beach for 20 years. He retired from North American Aviation in 1984. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen and Dale. Burial in Morland Cemetery, Morland, KS.
