Sprenkel, Hill City, died April 9, 2001. He was born Oct. 23, 1934, in Quinter to Charley and Mary Elizabeth (Jones) Sprenkel. He was a U.S. military veteran of the Korean War. He was a salesman for S&W Supply for 35 years and had been a resident of Hill City since 1955. He attended the Presbyterian Church in Hill City. He was a member of American Legion and Elks Lodge. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert. Burial in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Hill City.
