He was born Aug. 16, 1930, in Liberal, to Dewey and Janet (Sutton) Wilson. He married Daisy A. Teter Sept. 15, 1956, in Raton, N.M. He was a farmer/rancher and a member of the Kansas Farm Bureau board of directors. Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, David, Hill City; three daughters, Micci Meyers, Mission, Noela Dreiling, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jackie Smith, Hays; five brothers, Ian, Ocean View, Del., Ray, Fleming, Colo., Winifred, Lamar, Colo., J.D., Sheridan Lake, Colo., and Robert, Providence, R.I.; three sisters, Inez Haley, Corpus Christi, Texas, Loretta Shepard, Helena, Okla., and Mary Dunlap, Denver, Colo; and six grandchildren. Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at the Hill City United Methodist Church, with Pastors Kelvin Heitmann and Harry Cross officiating; burial in the Hill City Cemetery. Visiting hours are from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Spencer Chapel, Hill City, and 10 a.m. to service time Thursday at the church. The family suggests memorials to the Kansas Lung Association.
