    3. Hi Jacki: I have done Penokee, Moorland, Anderson, Rock Creek, Leland & Brush Creek. I am taking names, Dates, Military info. & family info like Marriage dates, parents, Children & where from when on stone. We will soon be getting them posted on the Graham County Gen Web. Project site. Bill Sowers will be listing them, when I get them to him. I have all of the above on paper, most are on a disc, still working on others. If you would want to do the north ones & get me a copy I would appreciate it. You would get the credit for getting the Info. I had figured on trying to getting St. Peter, Prairie Home, Bogue & Nicodemus yet this fall, but looks like spring at the earliest now. There might be a couple weeks this winter where I could do a close one or two. I have the copies of the Hill City Cemeteries. If you want to do some of them, let me know, & I will work with you. If they go on the County site, they are permanent & so everyone can use them. The closest cemeteries to me are St. Peter, Red Line, Prairie Home I had talked to parties about starting in Nicodemus, but it will be at least spring now. If you want to do some of these cemeteries, there is no need of doing them twice. Let me know what you want to do, because I still have Trego county to finish. If it gets on the web site & you let every one know on the Email, won't that work? I would be happy to work with you on this project. Good Luck Gayle M. 3. Hi Craig: I am the co- coordinator of Trego county Gen Web Project page & a life long resident of Trego County. My mother was born in Graham County & I have a lot of relatives both buried still living in Graham County. I am in the process of cataloging all the cemeteries in both Graham & Trego Counties. They will be listed on the Graham & Trego Co. Gen Web Project sites when completed. I have never heard of a Steel Cemetery or is it included in the list of cemeteries that I received from the Graham county Clerk. There is 23 cemeteries in Graham County. I will keep my eyes open for your Morrison family. You might keep checking the Graham county site for the cemeteries in the future. Good Luck Gayle M. 2. Bill & Diana Sowers
    3. Hello Graham County researchers.... We've added a new page to the Graham County Kansas KSGenWeb Project website.... It's called GRAHAM COUNTY NEWSPAPER GLEANINGS and the main page's URL is: http://skyways.lib.ks.us/genweb/graham/glean.html As of now all we have up are selected gleanings from one issue of The Hill City New Era, September 17, 1908. The URL for this page is: http://skyways.lib.ks.us/genweb/graham/glean08.html So... what are newpaper gleanings? They are small anouncements, articles, notices taken written in many smaller town newspapers... Comings, goings, parties, visits, accidents, commentaries on local events, etc. Take a look and see what you think. I recently borrowed the 1908 issue of the Hill City New Era from the Kansas State Historical Society (check out http://www.kshs.org/library/illpoli.htm for more information on this service) and copied off a lot of gleanings which I will slowly add to the page. Don't forget about the local search engine set up for Graham County. 1. [KSGRAHAM] **TEMP POST** Problem on message board
    2. Hey, folks, This is Jackie, the board administrator letting you know about a problem that just appeared with the new boards. Yesterday, we admins were given "editing" rights over 3 fields on all posts: Subject, Surnames and Classification. Gosh, I went to town changing subject lines to correctly identify what was in the actual post, and adding surnames and classifications where they were missing. Then the PROBLEM showed up - a "glitch" changed (automatically without my consent or knowledge) My Profile "post name" and "post e-mail" to the name of the author of the last post I had edited. When I changed these fields back to the correct name and e-mail, ALL of the posts I had edited were changed to *my* name. The problem has been reported to the programmers and they expect to have this corrected and the original names back on the correct posts very soon. (When that happens, this post will be deleted.) I just wanted to let anyone looking at the Graham County, KS board that I *did not* post all of those messages and nor did I *steal* them. Please do not respond to me regarding any of those messages until the problem is fixed. (Also, please do not respond to THIS message, as I will have to delete those as well.) Thanks for your patience and understanding!
