    1. [KSFINNEY] church, undertaker, and ranch ... where are they?

    3. Looking for obituary and/or burial information for: Anna Mary GIESWEIN. I’m also looking for the name of the church and the undertaker. (See information below). I’m hoping someone in the mailing group can suggest a lookup or organization that could check the church or undertaker records. Anna Mary GIESWEIN was born Nov. 4, 1856 in Germany or Russia She died Oct. 19, 1912 in Garden City or Deerfield, or Lakin, KS Death certificate shows: Place of death: Finney Co., Garden City Township Place of Burial or Removal: "German Church" or "Herman Church" (hard to read). Undertaker: A. R. Clark (?), Garden City, KS The undertaker’s name might be something completely different than this. I’m really guessing it’s very difficult to read. (I could scan this portion and send to someone if it would help.) The Finney Co. Historical Soc. found this. A one sentence notice in the Oct. 25, 1912, Garden City Telegram – "Mrs. Gieswein whose husband has charge of the King ranch up north died Monday." Any idea of where the "King ranch" might have been? One family letter insinuated she was buried on a ranch in Deerfield, KS while a different family record shows place of death as Lakin, KS. John W.
