I've added more data to the Douglas County "Kansas History and Heritage Project" website: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~ksdoughp/index.html ~ 1889 burials, Oak Hill and Maple Grove cemeteries, Lawrence. ~ 1878 Farmers' Directory ~ 1889 Post Office and Postmasters ~ "Old Settlers," 1891 I've also replaced the defunct search engine with a working one. A note about the 1878 Farmer's Directory--there are only 416 names on this list, a number far below what I would estimate the farmers in the county in 1878. The names were taken from post office lists, but evidently the person collecting the names did not contact all the post offices in the county, so it is most likely incomplete. Thanks for visiting, Sheryl
