I've "rescued" an old baby book belonging to Sherwood William NEWTON b. 25 Aug 1911 in Topeka, KS. His Mother is listed as Grace NEWTON and brother Dwight NEWTON is also identified in the book. Based on limited research I was able to gather the following information regarding Sherwood and his family: Sherwood William NEWTON was b. 25 Aug 1911 in Topeka, KS to Otis Louis NEWTON (1889-1947) and Grace M. THOMPSON (1890-1976). Sherwood had one brother, Dwight B. NEWTON b. 1916, who was living in Bend, OR at the time of Sherwood's death on 27 Sept 1992 in Lawrence, KS. It does not appear that Sherwood had any children. Sherwood is buried in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Lawrence, KS.
