The Topeka Daily Capital Friday December 21, 1951 Mrs. Katherine Grauel. Mrs. Katherine Ellen GRAUEL, 91, died Thursday morning at her home in Lecompton. She was born in Lecompton and was a lifelong resident of that community. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Agnes JAMES and Mrs. S.K. WALTER, both of the home, and Mrs. Josephine PORTER, Glendale, Colo.; two sons, W.F. GRAUEL, Lecompton; and J.F. GRAUEL, Tecumseh; a brother, Theodore SULZEN, Lecompton; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth HAINES, Topeka; 17 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Peters Catholic Church Big Springs with burial in Big Springs Cemetery.
