    3. In response to your query, I checked the marriage and death records index for both Douglas and Jefferson Counties. No entries at all for surname of "Earp". However, did find two entries in Index to Lawrence Newspapers 1873-1881 as follows: ---- Earp mentioned in 4 Sep. 1879 , page 4, of Lawrence Daily Journal. George Earp death reported in 7 Sep. 1879, page 4, issue of Lawrence Daily Journal. Don't know if these persons have any connection to the family you were seeking. However, that was all I have found.
