Place of burial unknownl. Married Lucinda Buttram 26 July, 1846 in Van Buren/Cass Co., Mo. Lucinda was born 1826 in Ky. Lucinda is listed as a widow on the 1870 census for Douglas Co., Ks. *********************************** 3) Abner Lafayette Jones B:28 February, 1828 Kentucky. D:11 February, 1885 Ks. Buried in cemetery in Peoria, Franklin Co., Ks. Married Emily H. Parsons in Cass Co., Mo. Emily born in 1830 in Va. *********************************** 4) Elizabeth Jones B:14 January, 1830 Hensley Twp. Johnson Co., Indiana. D: Married John L. Pleasents June, 1853 Cass Co., Mo. Moved to Davis Co., Iowa, and are enumerated, along with her brother John Nelson Jones (who had gone for a visit), on the 1860 Davis Co., Iowa census. After the death of her husband John L. Pleasents (after 1870) Elizabeth Jones Pleasents moved to Douglas Co., Ks. near her elderly parents, and living in household with her unmarried daughter, Sina Pleasants. *********************************** 5) Sina Jones born 19 June, 1832 Hensley Twp., Johnson Co., Indiana. D: Missouri. Married August, 1851 in Cass Co., Mo. to 1/Alvertes/Alvadez Williams;Married 04 June, 1880 at Fort Scott, Bourbon Co., Ks. to 2/Bennett Coberly. Lived in Fort Scott, Bourbon Co., Ks. ********************************** 6)Wilson Lee Jones B:30 October, 1834 D:19 December, 1866 in Prairie City, Ks. as a result of wounds received on the battlefield during the Civil War. Served with a Ks. Regiment. Buried at Pioneer Cemetery near Baldwin City, Douglas Co., Ks. Married: 22 December, 1853 in Cass Co., Mo.to 1/ Mary Frances Fowler B:1836 in Mo. One child resulted from their union Wiley A. Jones born July, 1855. It is believed that Mary Frances died in childbirth. Married ca 1857 to 2/Rebecca Graham, daughter of John Graham and wife Rebecca Logan. After the death of her husband Wilson Lee Jones, Rebecca moved to Oregon with her 5 children, where she joined her family who had already relocated there. *********************************** 7) Alfred Wiley Jones B:28 January, 1837 Hensley Twp. Johnson Co., In. D:25 January, 1910 at Fort Scott, Bourbon Co., Ks. Buried at cemetery at Mapleton, Ks. Married Delana Jane Foster, daughter of Mary A. Lay and husband Thomas Foster of Mo. Delana Jane Foster B:Nov. 1840 D:12 February, 1909. Buried at cemetery in Mapleton, Ks. Alfred Wiley Jones served with a Kansas Regiment with the Union Army during the Civil War. *********************************** 8) John Nelson Jones B:24 March 1829 Hensley Twp. Johnson Co., Indiana D:12 march, 1862. Served in Civil War with Iowa Regiment-died as a result of wounds incurred on battlefield. Never married. No issue. *********************************** 9)Jacob P. Jones B:14 May, 1841 Hensley Twp., Johnson Co., Indiana. D: 24 December, 1900 in Allen Co., Ks. Buried at cemetery in Baldwin City, Douglas Co., Ks. Married-yes-data here but not handy.....will post later... *********************************** 10) William Thomas Jones B:23 May, 1845 Hensley Twp., Johnson Co., Indiana. D: 12 January, 1919 at Grace Hospital, Kansas City;Buried Prairie City Cemetery near Baldwin City, Douglas Co., Ks. Methodist Episcopal Minister. Served with a Ks. regiment during the Civil War. Married Mary Maria Marley B: 11 May, 1850 D:26 June, 1917. Buried beside husband at Prairie City Cemetery. William Thomas Jones and wife Mary Marley had one child:William Wiley Jones who married Minnie May Hodges.
