Where could I find the 1859 Douglas County census? Recently I found the name of what I believe was my ancestor, listed on p. 31 in the Lawrence Twp., Douglas Co. census. I found this on Ancestry, but the actual scanned pages are not found on Ancestry. I knew that he had at least one son that went to Kansas. I have not checked, either, the 1860 federal census index for Kansas, and wonder if anyone would have access to a copy of that so I would have at least the page number to check. --Richard
