Miss Mary Jane WINTER, 28, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom WINTER, former Douglas county farmer, died in Amarillo, Tex., yesterday, according to word recieved by relatives. Her father formerly was a prominent farmer near Lecompton. The family moved to Texas about 15 years ago. Mr. WINTER is a brother of Milton WINTER of Lawrence and a brother-in-law of Peter EBERART of Highland Park. Funeral services will be at Lecompton at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon. Burial will be in Lecompton cemetery.
