Hoping someone can advise me how to find out name of Douglas County, Kansas, Coroner ca 1913. I have access to newspaper article re death of a great-uncle. Article says coroner was H.T.Jones. Is there a way to verify that this name is attached to this county? Also what newspapers were operating in Lawrence, Kansas during this period of time. Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.
