There is a Showalter plot in Baldwin's Oakwood cemetery. It also contains the Martin family as follows: Grace Showalter Black, 1875 - 1948 Clarence A. Showalter, 1872 - 1931 Cora May Showalter, 1873 - 1932 Bertha Showalter Gorman, (no dates)] Roxana Showalter McLachlan, 1884 - 1946 Mary E. Showalter, "mother" June 23, 1849 - Mar. 28, 1918 James A. Showalter, "father" July 9, 1850 - Oct. 27, 1902 Mary S. Martin, "mother" 1891 - 1977 Earl F. Martin, "father" 1890 - 1935 It would appear the death date you have would have been for Earl rather than Mary, or the cemetery record is reversed. Since it appears they may have been living in Baldwin area, there may be an obituary in the Baldwin newspaper. It will probably be several days before I have opportunity, but I could check the microfilm of the Baldwin newspaper to see what it has, if anything.
