Hi all, I'm wondering if such records for Douglas County are available? I recently saw some for Chicago,1892, and they gave info as to when the voter became naturalized . My husband's ancestor, Thomas LAVELLE, lived in Lawrence from the 1870's till his death in 1897, he was born in Ireland, served about 4 years in the Civil War from Illinois, but we are not sure when he came to the USA.
