I'm not related to the Heinrich family, but live in Douglas Co., so thought I might be able to help find information. Checked the Baldwin Ledger for an obit for Carl August Heinrich, but could not find one near his death date. There are only 4 persons listed in Douglas Co. Cem. records of Heinrich surname: Carl A. Heinrich, b. 5 Mar. 1889, d. 22 May 1946, bur. Vinland Cem. Alma F. (Hoskinson) Heinrich, b. 3 Jan. 1902, d. 27 OCT. 1954. Louis W. Heinrich, b. 17 Aug. 1921, d. 25 Dec. 1983 R. Mabel Heinrich, b. 22 May 1920, d.--- blank--- From Hoskinson family records lists their 5 children of Carl & Alma-- Juanita Marie, b. 28 June 1920, m. ___ Hubbard on 10 Feb. 1940 Louis William , b. 17 Aug. 1921 d. 25 Dec. 1983 Margarel Carlisle, b. 20 Mar. 1923, m. Ernest Williams Helen Louise, b. 23 Nov. 1924, m. 2nd, Cecil Miller, d. Nov. 1978 Harold Herve, b. 4 June 1931, m. Marlene Underwood on 3 Jun. 1952 There was an obit for Louis W. Heinrich which lists his survivors, but nothing about ancestry. It does list a brother Harold of Phoenix, AZ and two sisters: Mrs. Juanita Hubbard of Lawrence, KS and Margaret Walbridge of Baldwin plus wife, two dau. and a son.. I understand that Margaret Walbridge is a resident of the nursing home here in Baldwin and has mental capabilities that might know something about her father's ancestry if we questioned her. In a scrapbook of Vindland items, I found a page on Lewis and sister Juanita Heinrich. It states he is the son of Carl & Alma Heinrich and grandchild of W. H. and Jennie Hoskinson. It then lists some of the honors that Lewis and sister Juanita received. However, I did not find anything connecting this family to Rudolph Heinrich of Eudora. There may have an obit in Lawrence newspaper for Carl that might give some info.
