William A. WESSNER, 82, of Berryton, died Monday at the home of his son, R.E. WESSNER of Kansas City, Mo. Mr. WESSNER had been a resident of Shawnee and Douglas counties since 1885. He came to Kansas from his home in Indiana in 1884, settling near Oxford. A year later he moved to Douglas county and later to this county. Besides his son, Mr. WESSNER is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Frank SNELL of Berryton, three sisters, Mrs. O.E. GREEN of Indianapolis, Mrs. Eva DAUGHERTY, Wabash, Ind., and Mrs. Hattie REAM of San Antonio, and three grandchildren, Mrs. Paul ZIRKLE of Pauline, Floyd SNELL and Miss Eleanor SNELL of Berryton. Funeral services will be at the Pleasant Hill church Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill cemetery.
