Mildred Reed LAWRENCE -- Mildred Marie Reed, 84, Lawrence, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2003, at a Lawrence hospital. She was born Dec. 16, 1918, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Johnny and Dubbie Belle Cummings Shelby. She married Delbert Reed on Dec. 9, 1960, in Muskogee, Okla. He died in 1975. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra; three stepsons, Delbert Reed Jr. and Raymond Reed, both of Lawrence, and George R. Reed, Lake Ozark, Mo.; and grandchildren. Graveside services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
