Believe it or not the Abilene Lib. is down to only one copy now. It is not the original but a copy as you described. I did make a copy of the copy but, one page was cut off during the original copying. I will dig out the copy this weekend and see what page it is....perhaps your copy will have the page intact. JB was a wee bit windy. I also have copies of JB's military and trial papers. (not all but some) I have be looking for the grave sites of Nicholas and Statira. My information indicates they are buried at the Abilene cemetery but, I have been told the records were destroyed in a fire. Do you know the location of their burial site? Every once in a while I go out and walk parts of the cemetery and have found a few Shanes but not them. Also have been looking for info. concerning Nicholas D.'s family in Pa. but, no luck so far. My hubby is related to Shanes: Nicholas D and Statira Boucher Arthur Lamartien and Elenore Cooley Richard M and Katherine Gantenbein (I am looking for more info. on Katherine's parent's and sibs) Irene M. and George Davis We currently live in the Enterprise area
