The Oskaloosa Independent Thursday April 3, 1941 Nina Macomber King. Mrs. C.E. KING, 58, of 502 Walnut St., Lawrence, a native of Oskaloosa, died at her home last Wednesday following an illness of only a few minutes. The funeral was held Saturday at the Rumsey funeral home and burial made at the Oak Hill cemetery. Nina MACOMBER, daughter of Henry D. and Barbara Priddy MACOMBER, was born in Oskaloosa, Kansas, in 1882, died March 26, 1941. She was married to Clarence KING in 1903; they had always made their home at Lawrence. Her husband and children survive; three sons, Lyle, Lester and Harold KING, all of Lawrence; five daughters, Mrs. Irvin HUTCHINSON, Miss Helen and Miss Betty of Lawrence, Mrs. Gerald FETZER of Fairfield, Iowa, and Mrs. Charles KETCHUM, Topeka; also by three sisters,Naomi (Mrs. William) BLY, Rogers, Ark., Charmion (Mrs. C.D.) HINES, Washington, D.C., and Della (Mrs. J.A. WEAVER), Empire, Calilf. There are five grandchildren.
