Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Ninth Street Baptist Church in Lawrence for Henry Clay CARSON, 88, of Lawrence, who died Thurdsay. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. He was born Dec. 11, 1872, at Lawrence and farmed in that area most of his life. He lived in Topeka about one year and returned to Lawrence. Surviving are three sons, Frank CARSON, 1528 Quincy, Walter CARSON, 1526 Quincy, and Otto 1327 Quincy; four brothers, Fred CARSON, 817 College, Willam CARSON, of Gary Ind., Jesse CARSON of Lawrence, and John CARSON of Kansas City, Kan., and a sister, Mrs. Bessie LOPEZ of Odgen, Utah. Bowser Mortuary is in charge.
