Mrs. Josephine LOWMAN, 71, died at her home, 1194 Garfield avenue, Monday afternoon. She was born in Indiana county, Pa., Sept. 8, 1862, and came to Kansas in 1896, settling in Lawrence. She moved to Topeka five years ago. She was a life member of the United Presbyterian church. She was the widow of the late John C. LOWMAN. She is survived by three children, William K. and Martha LOWMAN, Topeka; and Mrs. Paul ADAMS, Minneapolis, Kan.; and a brother in Latrobe, Pa. Funera services will be at the Wall-Diffenderfer mortuary Wednesday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock. Burial will be in the Oak Hill cemetery at Lawrence.
