Baldwin are the son and 1st wife of my grandfather George W. Hood of Monroe Co, KY. Thank you for the Clinton Cemetery info on their gravestones. I did not know both were buried there nor their birth and death dates. Since I made my request for Harvey Hood I have found his parents Isaac R. Hood b. Feb 1851 KY and wife, Susan Bannon/Banning b. 1853 MD in the 1880 Clinton Twp, Douglas County, KS census with two daughters Clara b. abt. 1872 IL and Ella May Hood b. abt. 1877 IL. I then located a 1900 census for Isaac R. Hood but he is living with a family he is working for and not with his wife and children in Clinton Twp, Douglas County, KS. Still looking for more census on this family. I found Isaac's daughter Ella May Hood m. Elijah K. Evans in Douglas County, KS on December 25, 1893. In 1920 Skagit County, WA census I located Harvey Hood b. abt 1885 KS and his brother Guy Hood b. abt. 1883 KS. Harvey's wife, Lulu b. abt. 1897 MO and daughter, Fern b. abt. 1916 MO. I am sure this Harvey & Guy are sons of Isaac R. Hood who is brother to my grandfather as it states their father was born KY and mother in MD. I also found a George Scrogham on the 1883 Pensioner's Roll for Douglas County, KS. George W. Scrogham was husand of Mary Sarah Hood who is my grandfather's sister. Am still searching for more information on these Hood family members while they were living in Douglas Co, KS. I have not yet confirmed if Isaac also moved to Skagit Co, WA as I have a 1910 obit for Isaac's mother that states he was living in the state of Washington. Thanks again for your help and really appreciate the information you sent.
