The name of Harvey does not match with the list of children for Milly on a 1850 Monroe Co, KY census so possibly could be a middle name for this male Hood. I have an extensive file on this Hood line to share with descendants. Any information you could provide on this Harvey Hood would be much appreciated or for his possible descendants. A 1915 obituary for a sibling did not mention Harvey Hood still living so he may have been deceased by 1915.

Found a couple items that may be associated with your Harvey Hood, though not probably directly. There is an index for early entries in newspapers of Lawrence, KS. The following is in reference to Republican Daily Journal of 2 Nov. 1877. There is some type news item on page 4 of that newspaper regarding a Mr. A. H. Hood. There was also a notice of death of an infant son of ___ Hood, died 11 Sep. 1879 (In Lawrence Daily Journal) From cemetery records--The following in Clinton Cem. , Douglas Co. KS-- Cora A. (Baldwin) Hood, b. 30 Oct. 1860, d. 21 Nov. 1893, wife of G. W. Hood. Harry I. Hood, b. 21 Aug. 1891, d. 22 Jan. 1957. These appear to be in same lot and would appear to be mother and son, though that is not stated. Have not found any reference to a Harvey Hood.
