I am the director at the Decatur County Last Indian Raid Museum in Oberlin, KS I am in the area with John G. Lacy buried in the Shibboleth Cemetery. Our John from his obit was born in Royalton, NY on June 3, 1812 and died at his home near Selden on February 26, 1889 of consumption. He leaves a wife and two boys. His funeral was under the auspices of the GAR. He is listed in our GAR records as 8th Heavy Artillery from New York.
