I am looking for any and all information on Hans Jepson. He came from Denmark with one Thiesen eith a Claus or Peter. He had a brother maybe that came to New York, don't know when, but he worked on bridges. He was from the area of Schleswig Holstein . The Thiesen's were brother maybe one came with the Hans Jepson. Thiesen came after or before. They could have a family connection, because i heard they knew each other before they left to come to the USA. Thanks

His funeral was under the auspices of the GAR. He is listed in our GAR records as 8th Heavy Artillery from New York. I am so sorry to hear about your brother, Kevin. My heart goes out to all of you. I took a photo of mom's copy of the article of Carolyn's accident when I was home over New Years. Mom did not go along that day--she said she didn't want to be a "5th wheel" or "tag a long". I'm sure she always has wondered what if she had been in the car. Can still see the pain in her eyes as she talks about it. Hugs to your mom and dad for me. Emily(Otter)Kessler Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
