L. R DeLaBarre, born Jan 7 1815 died Apr 8 1882, and Elizabeth M. DeLaBarre, born Nov 18 1819 died Jan 31 1886, are buried at Pittsburg (Hobson) Cemetery. James W., son of L. R. & A. E. DeLaBarr, born Dec 1 1872, age 2 yrs. 1 mo. 9ds. is buried at Shirly (State Park) Cemetery. Considering the birthdates of the couple buried at Pittsburg, they surely were not the parents of the child born in 1872, so perhaps they were the child's grandparents. Perhaps the father and grandfather both used the initials L. R. Then I found the marriage of Elizabeth DeLaBarre, age 20, and George N. Long, age 20, both of Pittsburg, performed 22 Jun 1899 by W. B. Brayman, J. P., (Book N, page 76). The cemetery records I searched are through 1976; however, the marriage records I was able to search are only through 1902 and the birth records only through 1905. You will probably have to contact the Crawford County Clerk's office f! or marriage and birth records more recent. Hope these clues help you find additional information.
