Florentin FIORET, his wife Matilda, his children Auguste and Florentin Jr. came to the U.S. on Sept. 27, 1914 and settled in Pittsburg, Kansas where apparently Florentin FIORET worked at a Coal Mine in Crawford County. Florentin or Flor sent his family back to France - we don't know when. The last info we have on him is the 1925 Kansas State Census which indicates that he lived, alone, but still married, at Ringo, Crawford County, KS. We cannot find anything more about him after 1925. The family says that he was involved in an accident at the mine but don't know what happened after that. The year of the accident is unknown.
