Johnson ; in the federal census of Barry County, Missouri, 1860 , the Johnson Family is listed and this is prior to the birth of Zedoc (Jr); the family apparently moved back to Greene County, Mo. after their homestead was runover by military movements of the Civil War . The Johnson Family stayed in the Greene County area and was listed on the federal census of 1870 , except for Zedoc (Sr) who had died around 1865 . The family then moved over to Barton Co., Mo, where they had bought a farm and the sons worked the place until they eventually married or moved on after the death of their Mother in 1902 . Zedoc (Jr) married Edwina "Winnie" Canalys Briggs on 3 MAY 1883 , they lived in or near Pittsburg, Ks until the death of Winnie on 17 APR 1917 . The next location of Zedoc/Zedock Johnson ( spelling used in the fedearal census of Crawford Co. in 1930) is in Crawford Co., Ks , b! ut I do not know what city ; Zedoc has six family members listed with him in the 1930 census and I do not know if they are his children or another wife , an older daughter, and a second family . My query is : does anyone out there know what city Zedoc may have resided in 1930 and where would I find his burial location ? Were the family members listed in the 1930 census a second family and how large was his first family (names, etc )? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
