The Girard paper also did not list names. However, it said he was born November 25, 1866 in Miller County, Missouri, one of twelve children. The family is found in the 1870 census of Miller County on pages 230-231. The parents are Isaac Horton, age 50, born in Virginia and Abba(?) age 48, born in North Carolina. In the 1880 census, they are shown as Isaac and Issabel. In the 1900 census, Issac is widowed; born October 1822. I hope this helps.
