Lois Kay, I'm unsure if you remember or not, but we have corresponded before, your ggrandmother (I think I have the right number of g) and my ggrandfather (William O Birdsell) I think we decided were siblings. I was wondering what relatives you still have in the area as I also have several cousins in Cherokee and Scammon from that side of the family. My mother (other side of my family) also still has a lot of members there and they know each other.
